Partner & Affiliate Program Policy

This policy outlines the terms and expectations for participation in the Terrapin Partner & Affiliate Program ("Program"), applicable to accountants, CPAs, influencers, content creators, and other referral or integration partners ("Partner").
1. Eligibility
To join the Program, you must:
Be at least 18 years of age
Operate a valid business or platform relevant to Terrapin's customer base
Apply and be accepted by Terrapin
Agree to this Policy and any additional terms provided upon approval
2. Referral Program Terms
2.1 Approved Channels
Partners may promote Terrapin via:
Direct referrals (e.g. CPA-led client onboarding)
Affiliate links (provided by Terrapin)
Branded marketing materials (pre-approved by Terrapin)
2.2 Referral Fees / Commissions
Standard commissions and revenue share percentages will be communicated upon acceptance.
Payouts are made quarterly via bank transfer or digital payment, once thresholds are met.
Terrapin reserves the right to change commission structures with 30 days’ notice.
2.3 Attribution Window
Unless otherwise agreed, Terrapin uses a 30-day cookie window to attribute affiliate conversions.
3. CPA & Accountant-Specific Terms
CPAs may offer account setup, ongoing support, and advisory services to their clients via Terrapin.
Partners may request access to their clients’ data only with client consent.
Client data must not be shared or exported without the client's written permission.
4. Use of Terrapin Brand
You agree to:
Only use brand assets provided or approved by Terrapin
Not imply false endorsements, partnerships, or ownership
Follow any branding or co-marketing guidelines issued
5. Restrictions
You may not:
Bid on Terrapin brand keywords in paid advertising
Use misleading or unethical marketing tactics
Directly resell Terrapin subscriptions unless under an approved reseller agreement
Disparage Terrapin or its users in public forums or content
6. Termination
Terrapin may suspend or terminate your participation in the Program if you:
Breach this Policy
Misrepresent Terrapin or act in bad faith
Violate any applicable laws or ethical guidelines
Termination results in forfeiture of unpaid commissions and access to the Program.
7. Limitation of Liability
Terrapin is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your participation in the Program.
8. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and the State of New York.
